Since updating to itunes 7 everytime I insert a music cd itunes automatically launches and there is no option to disable this in the preferences. This is an issue because I routinely use CDRW's and now everytime I insert one into my computer itunes launches which disables me from using Toast to erase the disk. I get the "this device is in use by another app" warning. Is there a way around this? I hate that Apple forces you to use some of their apps when you don't want to.
In System Preferences/CDs & DVDs, one may choose, via a drop down menu, what is to happen when a music CD, etc., is inserted. Is your preference set to: “Open iTunes”, or is it that your preference to “Ignore” is not sticking?
