Preferably cheap games (not 50/60), anyone got any ideas...

Call of Duty 5

Doesn't Call of Duty 4 still sell for $50 new?
If I had to choose one from the list, it would be Burnout: Paradise City. I'm sure Dakar will agree with me on this one.

When I read this thread I was thinking that "Summer Games" was out for the Xbox 360. I used to play Summer Games (i.e. olympic sports game) on the Commodore 64!

I'd have to recommend Burnout on pure cost (though have some cash ready for some of the premium DLC). I haven't played the CoDs but there's a reason 4 keeps hanging around the live activity charts. But is still runs $50, I think (crazy).
I just picked up Fable II for under $40 on Amazon, if you're into that.

I have to say, the Nazi Zombie mode of CoD5 is really, really entertaining.

I liked Fable 2 (never played the first one). Very similar to Fallout 3, but without the nuclear holocaust stuff. Not sure if thats clear or not, you'll see.

I'm nowhere close to done, but I'll give you the long and short of it.
I thin I came to this realization during my run on the original Fable, but essentially, this is the adult Zelda. However, the focus is less on puzzles and more on Maxis-like gameplay.
If you've played original Fable , expect more of the same (but then again, you can say this about Zelda, too). Everything, however, is deeper, including the very towns. I seem to remember hitting load screens constantly in the old one. They're less frequent here, mostly because each area (including the towns) is freakin' sprawling. Throw in a little GTA action with the Gargoyles and Silver Keys and its all good.
My only complaint is I accidentally aligned myself permanently with a faction not knowing about the permanence. It had been nice if they had stressed the impact of the decision before I did it. Also, the magic is a little different and I can't say I much like it.

The dog is even akin to Navi, thought he replaces the rumble that would signal treasure to be near, more accurately.
