heyas, I'm looking for an ibook with 16mb video ram (unless I can get a good price on one with 8). The clock speed isn't as important as supporting QE is. I'd like it to have at least a dvd drive, as the burner isn't so important. It's going to be mainly used for surfing the web and playing DVD's in the air. If anyone has something in mind, please let me know. The price range i'm looking for is between 800-950.

the 8 meg models DO NOT support QE.

Hello! If you're still interested in that iBook... I have a 600/20/640/Airport and the 16 MB vid card does support QE. It also does monitor spanning, which is really cool. Bought in June 02, so still under warranty. I have pics, if you would like. I'm looking for about 900 for it. Let me know if you're interested

Still looking for an iBook, or an older Powerbook G4 (400-500). I'm sure someone has to be getting rid of something to get the new 12" Powerbook.
