Well, I think it's time to get a new lcd iMac or a Tower. The easiest way is to sell (or trade) my ibook. What we have is a 500 (overclocked to 600) 256mb Ram, 10gb HD, and the CDRW/DVD Combo Drive. Machine is in great shape and runs very well. I would like to start learning programs like Maya, Lightwave, etc so the power of a G4 is needed. Also I wouldn't be closed to getting a PB G4 either. Thanks for any offers in advance.

what's the starting price? I'm considering this a 500, not a 600, since it is overclocked.

On eBay, the completed ibook 500's with a combo drive are going anywhere from 800 to 1200. It just all depends on who is purchasing. I figure if I sell this machine on ebay it will fetch about 1000 or so. The fact that it's overclocked may hurt me in the forums, but won't on eBay.

I just traded my 500 OCed 600
320
dvd
10gb

for a G4 cube witha Radion...

I don't know who got the better end of the trade, but I think the cube will hold it's value a bit better.

We switched it to 550/100 and it works fine.

Thanks for the responses thus far. I forgot to mention that I have 2 power adapters, the AV Cable, and the VGA adapter. Still hoping that someone will want to get rid of a tower, or a cube...maybe even a PB G4 400.

It's a slug next to the iBook, just general feel, i have no solid proof to back this up, but it just plain sucks next to the I.

If I were you I'd go for a DA 466 or 533 G4.

thanks for not leaving us hanging. drop the ebay link in here when it's posted--I'll take a look and see how the bidding goes, any maybe drop a bid myself the price looks right.

hope you have better luck than I have had--I tried to sell my tibook 667/48G/512RAM/airport on ebay, starting at $2150, and had zero bites. I think it's a good deal, but I can't go lower since I would need that money to go towards a newer ti or an ibook (heheh. in that case I'd just pocket the difference).

until he's paid for this ibook(i'm the original seller) I do not recomend anyone buying it from him, as I'm still staking claim to it until it's been paid for. And to this date it's been almost four months and i haven't recieved a single penny, and i haven't heard from him in over two weeks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Well, given that something odd seems to be going on here, I'm going to lock this thread until we get this matter of unpaid bills sorted out...
