I'm not sure how this happened, but my Al15 developed a fairly prominent scratch on the outside of the screen (about 2 inches long). I guess something must've found its way between the powerbook and the inside of my bag.

I used turtle wax to buff out scratches on my iBook with lots of success... but I'm a little more hesitant to experiment with this computer... has anyone else tried buffing out scratches on their AlBooks? What did you use, and with how much success?

I'll try to help you.

Just put "aluminium polish" in the GOOGLE search box and look at the results. You will find some ideas worth trying.

Seems that motorcycles uses this kind of product.

Try your local Biker gang for advice. (seriously, don't do that!)

good luck
