I love this!

I have always wanted a Find-function for objects I commonly misplace: My wallet, my cellphone, iPod, keys, remote controls, my girl friend

If this catches on do you guys foresee corporations using this?

like i have an ID i carry around with me in my building _ya think they would make one of these instead for ID/tracking purposes to make sure you are at your desk all day or don't abuse lunch/breaks?

the article said they would be roughly $25 to produce. retail price would obviously be more, but it could be lowered with production.

I think this has already been done, There was a web site where you could track all the people in a dept at some big corp.

I think that was Apple trying to stop builds of Panther/Safari from leaving the premises...

StarCity casino in Sydney already uses them. They're implanted in employee uniforms to track employee movement and uniform theft (I'm sure the latter was an afterthought).

So how do you look something up exactly and how acurate is it? Do they also have a little map like GPS or does it just say 10 meters from base south west?

So it's like a general-purpose lo-jack? Funny that I just saw a Gilmore Girls episode yesterday (so shoot me) and one of the characters suggested creating a lipstick lo-jack.

Since it's based on GPS, I'd say it's accurate to about 1m.

Woz, I just lost all respect for you.
