Hi,
I can't eject the CD. The CD plays normally, and I have imported all the tracks without problems. The only thing was, when I've inserted the CD, it took longer then usually, for the import page to show. That colourful little circle, was spinning for some time, which usually doesn't happen. When the import was over, I've tried ejecting the CD in all possible ways, i.e. I tried the little button in iTunes window, I tried punching the eject button on the keyboard, and I tried with the mouse, from the drop down menu. The CD has the option, for the online access, and I don't know, if that is making the problem, as I've closed that Safari window, before attempting the eject. Then, I tried to restart the computer, but the machine got stuck, the upper horizontal bar receded, but the dock froze, the screen stayed the same. I could even move the cursor, but the computer wouldn't restart, so I had to use the power button at the back. When I booted up the computer, everything was showing, with the icons of the CD. When I tried to run iTunes, it took longer then usually for the application to open, but after that, the CD played the tracks normally again, but it wouldn't get ejected. I've attempted this hard shut down several times, but still no results.
Is there any other way to do this?
Thanks.

Aleksandar
PS: I'm using the latest iTunes version, if this information is of any help.

Hey,
thanks all for looking.
I have tried disk utility, and it didn't work, as gathering of the disk information took for ever.
So, I essayed using the firmware, and that yielded results.
Now, my Mac functions as before.

Just a hint should the need arise, holding the mouse button down while booting up the Mac should eject the optical disc inside the DVD drive.
