Now everytime I re-start from the OS 9 partition, I have a whole bunch of Rescued Items Folders on the thash.
There is one folder for each partition I have. All partitions but the OS 9 and the Jaguar partition have "Rescued Items" folders...
What's going on?

Don't know what is going on but it sounds like you need to get DiskWarrior and rebuild your directories.

The rescued items folder is created after a crash, in an attempt to save teh RAM contents. Or something.
Has the system been crashing much? On shutdown?

i'm running 9.2.2. crashes have been rare (crossing fingers), but i find that, in general, when i start up or restart, i often have a rescued items folder in my trash...
so i delete it and get on with the day!
tech tool is good, but i guess is not fixing this problem (since i use it monthly)

Thanks for your reply!!!
It's the second day w/o any freezes on startup and w/o the rescued items... I'll see what's going on...
Something is telling me the cradle from my Visor was making the computer freeze...
