Will a PC ATI 9600 SE work in a MDD G4?

There is a spare ATI 9600 SE 128MB video card at my office and I wanted to see if it would work in my MDD dual gig G4. Would it work?
The box only shows Windows as the required operating system but I didn't know if it would still work or not.

can't you flash the ROM in order to use it in a mac?

Only some cards can be easily flashed. And as far as I know, the 9600 isn't one of them.
