Hello
Ive started to work with iMovie4 and want to had off only a portion of the file to iDVD as iMovie's file is too large for a single burn on iDVD.

at the moment Im taking a 6 hour VCR, using the passthrough funtion on my new canon miniDV to make a digital file in iMovie.

after chopping it up, I now say have 3 hours of "movie" Id like to make two DVD's from it.

what is the max time for a DVD? apple store said with the new iDVD4 it would be 2 hours, it used to be 1 hour in best mode, and 1 1/2 hour in a mode not quite as good.

is this true? how do I hand off only that portion of iMovie to iDVD to fit the quality and time I want on a DVD?

thanks Tocca
