I have a new pioneer dvd-r 8x drive in my dual g4 running 10.3.2

Apple and toast 6 with update recognize this drive, but when I went to burn a video file on to a recognized 4.7 gb -r disk, toast said that i only had 800 mb or so and needed 4 + GB more to do this

any ideas on this? I ahve not tried a data file yet or tried to burn the video file with a mac software for burning

thanks TOCCA

what's probibly happening is that it is showing you the space left on a CD. Look in the bottom right corner on top of the big button and see if it says "CD" if it does, click the word and it should change to "DVD"
