How about deleting iTune's preferences or reinstalling iTunes?

maybe that would help, but I would have to make my library and my playlists again. Isn't there a way around reinstalling iTunes or deleting the prefs file?

Move the prefs to the Desktop; if it doesn't help, move them back.
If it does help, manually move them back afterwards.
But... I don't think it will mess with your playlists. Well... playlists maybe, but not your library. Its in the iTunes Docs folder.

Backup the iTunes folder in your documents folder.

Some time ago I moved my library out of the folder and all my playlists were gone, wouldn't backing up the whole folder have the same effect?
I allready tried moving prefs, but it had no effect on the cddb
