Hi,
I was just curious as to the opinions of those on this board of how much you would reasonably pay for a machine configured as follows (I happen to own it, but my wife and I are thinking of getting a new macbook and are wondering how much this ibook might be worth). It is generally unscathed and in pretty great condition. purchased new, only owners.
ibook G4 1.2, 40 GB hard drive, combo-drive, airport card
1.25 gigs of RAM
Leopard installed (clean from orig disc)
brand new battery
So, what do you all think is a reasonable valuation of that configuration of an ibook?

I think around $300-$400. Not really worth selling IMO. When I'm ready to upgrade I'm keeping my current mbp as a backup and for guest use. A few times when I've had to have it serviced I've wished I'd had a spare.

There's a website that tells you how much your Mac is worth. I don't remember neither the name nor the url to it. Maybe someone else can tell you the site.

those mac2sell prices seem pretty low.
oto, these prices seem too high
14 inch iBook | PowerMax
so, it'll mainly depend on what it's worth in your local resale market.

Check out Everymac.com; I think its prices are relatively accurate.
I think around $400 for a 12" sounds about right...
