I need to upgrade my Powerbook to 10.5 so I can synchronize with my two iPhones! Sure I'll be buying a new computer in a few months, but meanwhile I'd like to not have to carry my iPhone and the iPod!

Here's a little secret. While 10.5 is nowhere to be found on Apple.com, if you call Apple, you can still buy 10.5 at the regular retail price. No inflated $200 absurd markup price. Just the regular $129. I don't know if this will still be the case once 10.7 comes out though.

It is crazy to pay full retail for 10.5 now! I'll be getting an iMac soon, I'd just like to listen sync my iPhone in the meanwhile.

It won't be easy getting it for below retail. Due to the fact that it's a secret that apple still sells it for retail, the aftermarket pricing is usually well above retail.

I've got one for sale. I'll sell for $80. PM if interested.

If you're going to just pirate the software anyway, why don't you just download it off BT?

Hmm, didn't realize that constituted pirating! I guess I'll just wait in a month or two for an iMac.
