Color me perplexed with this one
The Doulbe NAT one just started today and the Unrecognized Applie ID or PW one has been there for a few days.
The Doulbe NAT started with my AE plugged into a DSL modem that has worked fine for a few weeks then today this whole thing knocked me right off line
I switched to another provider system with a totally different feed direct into the AE and I am still getting a Doulbe NAT flag AND Unrecognzied ID, user
Other than pulling my hair out here can anyone suggest anything?
We have a MBA, a MBP and a Mac Pro Tower on the system
Thanks so much
Geoff

If you are getting double NAT then you need to switch off NAT on the AEBS. I have seen before where they work for years with double NAT in place then start complaining all of a sudden. Just change the config on the AEBS, let the ISP box handle all the DHCP.
If that doesn't fix your AppleID, reset the password for it.

I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Thanks for this.
In this case doing a reconfig forces me into a Bridge Mode and that does not seem to work. Going DHCP only wants some specific DNS numbers so unfortunately I remain a tad confused :-)

Bridge mode ought to work if your ISP router is issuing DHCP addresses. Thats what I run. Almost always have.
