hawt. i was wondering when it would reach 1.0

edit: now that i applied the theme, i'm disappointed that he didn't fix the check boxes. the big drop shadow doesn't fit the rest of the theme very well.

The new spinny activity thing is sweet, which almost makes up for the still-incomplete iTunes skin and still-Aqua Safari progress indicator.

I'm starting to miss the Max method of theme releases. The "I'm-not-releasing-it-until-it's-done-and-perfect-and-has-a-thousand-appskins-to-go-with-it" attitude is definitely the way to go.

I really really like this theme, I'd go so far as to say it's my #1 theme.

The iTunes play button etc.. have white around them I noticed. Is this going to be fixed?

I think they're supposed to be like that. I don't like it, but I don't think it's a mistake.

What I don't like is how the buttons can't decide whether to be black or white (compare the browse button's behavior to the play button's).

Yeah, and it's not just the Play button, it's also the forward and back as well as the browse/refresh buttons. At first I thought there was something wrong, but like rhythmicmoose said, I don't think it's a mistake. In my opinion, the iTunes skin is such a step backwards for an otherwise FANTASTIC theme. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not really opposed to the style. They remind me of the buttons on the 3G iPods. I just wish they were complete and consistent. The burn button, I just noticed, is half-done. The symbol underneath the gate is new, but the gate is still brushed.

Anyway, the rest of the theme is perfect (except for the checkboxes), even if the appskins are lacking.

I for ONE am Stoked to see Daisuke back in action. His themeing aesthetic and well rounded nature is becoming more & more expert. Can you guys imagine how much more dangerously cool his future themes will be! The potential is unlimited for this cat's imagination. Owe BABY!

iTunes play/next/previous icon needs to be fixed. lack of app skins and incomplete ones. the apple symbol on the menu is a lil big, imho.

i just prefer it to be a tad smaller, like 95% of the current size. the smooth stripes /guipod size, not huge like in the default aqua theme. the current one seem out of place.

Just want it to be consistent with the rest of the buttons. i think it's possible to make the background a little lighter. but it's okay, i can mod the theme myself (that's if i can reproduce the round buttons).

Okay, I have been using this theme since it first came out - 0.9b version - and I love it except for some little things:

-I can't stand the black line under the menubar. I think it takes away from the overall feel.
-The safari skin desperately needs a better progress color.
-I do agree with the itunes skin complains - it needs to be really and truly finished.

I only say these in the hopes that Daisuke reads this.
Otherwise, this theme is at the top of my all time favorite list.

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

Sounds great! Will it be a complete set (read, CandyBar) or just a folder and trash or harddrive icon ?

I think he said it was going to be a full replacement and i would think so mainly because..... he has a desktop icon there and there wouldnt be a point in a desktop icon if he was only going to make folders and trash cans... but i dont

I think this is the best theme ever made.

A mix of unprecedented unique style & usability.

Wow.
