hello!

i would like to give all 3 matching mods. something really feminine (lots of flowers, pastels that sort of thing) but i would like to do it cheaply (relatively) and without voiding any warranties... is that possible? if so what would be my options?
Computers:
Macbook Pro: 17in, 2.16Ghz, 120GB HD, 1.5 GB ram.
iBook G4: 1.07Ghz, 60GB HD, 756mb ram (on sale for parts)

Modding is very hard to do with voiding your warrenties. You could always paint your stuff to match colors. I don't think that would void your warrenty, but if you ever needed to have something fixed under warrenty that could give them ammunition to not fix it. I would wait until your stuff is out of warrenty.

I don't think that it voids the warranty, it just means that if you need something fixed and the genius is having a bad day, he'll blame it on the paint job. I would call Applecare to make sure.

Steve Jobs liked what Ford said, "it comes in any color you like as long as it is black"

I personally think the standard Apple colors match the hardware perfectly and are down right hot.

for the life of me i cannot see how painting the outside of a computer could void a warranty. now of course if you painted pictures directly on the logic board itself............................................ .....................

They could tell you that you have spilled paint inside + any decent paintjob would require dismantling
