Make sure you are running the disk utility off of the Install DVD, not the copy loaded on your hdd. It doe smake a difference when you are trying to repai a boot volume
15" Macbook Pro 1.83 2 GB RAM
Blackbook 13.3 Powerhouse 2 GB RAM
MacMini Dual Core 2 GB RAM (Sadly running Windows Most of the time)
Numerouse Workstations running windows and Linux. Sorry don't have the specs, I don't pay much attention to them anymore. :)

Have you tried downloading Boot Camp again? It's mildly possible that there's a corrupt bit or two in your current version.

I'm having the exact same problem. Except for me, my OS X disc won't even boot. I hold down C while restarting, and instead (eventually) the disk just ejects and the computer starts up normally.

There's a setting somewhere in System Preferences where you can select whether you want that top row to default to performing the functions (contrast, volume, keyboard backlight) or to sending the actual F1-F12 key events.

Hi, i'm getting the same issue with that damn boot camp assistant. Did you ever hear of anyone fixing the partition verification failure??

I don't really want to purchase Parallels and run the two O/S's at the same time. Really would appreciate any help.

Thanks

I got the same error about can not partition w/o repairing the disk, so i booted with the Startup DVD that came with the Mac Mini and repaired disk permissions (and repaired Disk) that way, and it allowed me to install XP.
