My friend burned me a cd and i went to import the files and it only imported 4 out of 10. the cd plays fine but will not import. i downloaded another imported..Max, and it had the same problems. like i said all of the tracks play fine they just won't import. Is there another way i can get the songs to import. is there a way i can just like copied from the cd or something? please help

i also tried just to copied the file straight from the cd to the desktop and it said it couldn't be read and/or written...but it can be played...i don't understand

Maybe there's something wrong with the CD. Bad burn, or a scratch, or just cheap media that your drive doesn't like.

insert the disk and copy the song files to the HD.

If that works... try encoding them. If it doesn't work... it tells you the disk is bad.
