Can I connect 7600 to network?

I guess the answer is yes, but how do I go about it? It's a PPC 7600/66 I think, and I want to run cat 5 from the Imac up to the 7600. What equipment will I need. Also, it's running 8.5 operating system.
One more thing. I'm missing some cables from the mouse to the back of the 7600. Where can I find replacements?

Are you sure you're not thinking of a 7100?
The 7600 came in (primarily) 2 forms: the 120 MHz version (as the 7600/120) and the 132 MHz version (as the 7600/132). They used the PPC 604 chips.
The 7100 started out as the 7100/66 and then later on as the 7100/80 (using the 66 and 80 MHz PPC 601 chips, respectively).
To connect the 7600 to the iMac, you can use the ethernet port on the computer directly (Cat 5 cable will plug in directly).
To connect the 7100, you will need an Ethernet Twisted Pair Transceiver to connect to the AAUI port on the back of the machine. Apple Model number M0437Z/B. These can usually be found on eBay.

Almost right, to get your iMac and the 7100 to connect to each other you can run a CROSS OVER cat5 ethernet cable between them or you will need a Ethernet hub/switch and can use straight through cat 5 cables. If you are planning on sharing internet between them I would just get a 4 port Router which is also a switch.

I assumed the poster knew that already. What he may not have known was that you need the transceiver to be able to connect *any* type of cat 5 cable (crossover or not) to the 7100.
