I know a lot of people have mentioned that the Macbook, with its plastic case is going to have better reception than a MBP. What I would like to know from anyone who has had the pleasure of testing both machines, as to how different the results really are?
I'm still weighing the pros and cons for purchasing one or the other machine, and wireless reception obviously is going to play a big part in the decision.

If they are like the iBook, they will get INCREDIBLE airport reception. I had an iBook before my MBP and the Airport reception was amazing on the iBook.

I've had a number of Powerbooks, and they were all terrible in terms of reception. I understand the Macbook Pro has improved upon this, but how much better than the MBP is the MB?

I've noticed the same reception on both machines, but it may have been because I was very close to the access point. I had the dropped connection problem but that's somehow improved.

I've read many reports of the new MB having amazing receiption, picking up other wireless networks that the iBook couldn't see.
