I know that this is stupid, but...
Is there a way to change the song order in my iTunes library. I recently put some songs into iTunes, and they are not in album order. I have tried to even go into the song information and change the track numbers, but no avail. Any ideas?

Try clicking on the column headers at the top of the list area.

The order displayed is determined by which column you have selected at the top of the window.

When you sort by Album, it should sort your songs in the original order.
