Transferring files from one iMac (G4) to iMac intel and having trouble transferring AOL Personal Filing Cabinet (stored e-mails). Any suggestions?
Note: Both iMac use same OS (10.4.11) and I only need to save these e-mails because they are old. Currently, I use Apple's Mail for most important emails and let the junk go to AOL.

I once used AOL Service Assistant (can be found, lower-right http://daol.aol.com/software/mac) and it worked as advertised. All AOL mailboxes were exported to Mail. There were a few duplicates and other minor errors, but in the main, I was 100% happy.
If that does not work, you might try forwarding your AOL mail to your Mail account. Indeed that is cumbersome, but it should work.

Thanks...found the AOL Service Assistant but will it allow me to switch the old AOL messages to my new iMac AOL personal filing cabinet?

To move your old AOL to your new AOL-
1. Download and install a AOL email client on your new machine.
2. Launch the new AOL client.
3. It will ask if you are creating a new account or updating. Select updating.
4. It will then ask you to navigate to your old AOL so that it knows from where to move the data.
5. Once that is done, click OK or Continue or what ever the wording is.
6. When that is done your old AOL data will be on your new machine.
