Not as much as being a Muslim or Atheist if you are a conservative.

What scares conservatives the most among those three from the most scary.

1. Being an Atheist
2. Being a Muslim
3. Being Gay
Bush Tax Cuts == Job Killer

It matters, IMO, because he was one of the most homophobic of George W. Bush's staff, and is the most powerful Republican to come out, so far. He even admits that he made some horrible decisions, and fought on the wrong side of the issue.

It could be worse - he could have defected to be a Democrat.

Wow, really? Partisan wanking?

YAWN.
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

Is that a roundabout way of trying to ask who beats off with their left hand?

Someone coming out as gay isn't the most shocking thing nowadays. However, as one of the primary architects of the "God, Guns, and Gays" strategy of the 2004 Bush campaign this news reveals Mr. Mehlman to be a hypocrite of the highest order. He rightly deserves whatever criticism comes his way on that issue.

Doesn't matter at all. He did his job. Bush won. Why ask such a baiting question unless you are a homophobe?

My answer is, meh.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

It doesn't really matter.

It's just Republicans and conservatives make it such a big issue. Like banning gays from the military or banning gays from getting married.

Building a mosque near ground zero doesn't really matter either, but Republicans and conservatives make it such a big issue.

The issue has always been about deviant lifestyles and the health risks we have all had to pay for.

I guess there's no doubt about it: BadKosh is a MacNN sock puppet, created to make controversy and ad impressions. He always seemed too clueless to be true.

I blame Bush.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

All you can do, besides, well, is laugh at the ignorance.
