ok so i recently did an archive install and everything was restoured exept my imovie and the guy who i bought my macbook from didnt give me the ilife08 disc what do i dooooooo?

Did you do an Archive and Install from the MacBooks restore discs? They should have the iLife suite on them.

Insert one of the restore discs, open the disc in the finder and double click on install bundled software. From there you should be able to select what you want to install.
