I have a mint condition Apple iSight that I am looking to sell. It works great I just recently got laptop which has one built in. I used this on my Mac Mini for a little while and it works great! It comes in the original box will all the unused mounts and stands as well as a firewire cable. This is a very rare find because Apple no longer makes them.
I am asking $165 shipped obo.

My only question--is the iSight compatible with skype? I have a G4 Mac upgraded to 10.4.11. I don't have a USB port 2.0, which is why I need a firewire device. I know it was made for iChat, but what if your son has a pc?

Not sure if this answers your question, but I have used my isight with skype with no problems on my G4 (10.4.11). The receiving end was also a Mac, but I don't see how that matters.
