The desire grew to an unbearable level in my belly so I finally did it, I bought the entry level 1.6Ghz G5 last Friday.

But then receive an email from Apple (UK) saying that due to huge demand they can't ship to at least the 11th (june).

I am now wondering to continue with this spec G5 or cancel it and wait for an upgrade which people on this forum seem to talking about.

Any one help me? Should I carry on with the 1.6 or wait till the range gets updated? How long will this be?

Any comments or, any one regretting buying the 1.6 in terms of performance alongside say the 1.8 or duals?

It is too close to WWDC to buy now, especially when there is a delay. The delay means that new models are on the way...

You will get much more for your money by waiting a week or 2, and you will be kicking yourself.

Thanks guys, I rung my Irish friends at Apple Uk yesterday and said "cancel that bad boy!"

so now gonna wait tiill the revision.
