Update: Now divided into one yellow elements version and one white. This is so you can have all aqua elements blue while having the widgets white.

Well, there it is, only coughhintcough a screenshot so far but I'm hoping to have a preview release for this out in a week or two.

The next few days I'll be at an introduction of my new school with my girlfriend, it's at least 300 miles away so I won't be checking in here for a while.

So stay good, and don't reveal anything
I'll be looking forward to some comments

/Daniel

Edit: Sorry 'bout there being no updates to busy at the moment. No inspiration... so, guess all the ones interested enough to want a bugy release know how to get the secret one by now?

Goodness, when you put "[ANN] panther guikit" in the title of your thread maybe you could actually have a new guikit available, instead of another "preview"

Ha ha, I was thinking the same thing "Hey, why the hell is it loading from the top and middle?!"

Anyway, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to finish downloading it (dialup curse), but the screenie looks awesome!

Don't forget to finish the Safari buttons (Text size, Home, Add bookmark are missing)... an iTunes and iChat theme would be great too... hint hint...

But as it is now... quite excellent!

Well I opened it in a background tab, and stuff loads so quick for me that I wouldn't have noticed it very easily even if it had loaded in the primary window.
I had to come back and was wondering, and I don't think that is such a crime.
I think credit should be given where it is deserved, and it was a good idea.

very well made theme

maybe on an updated release, you'll do safari buttons and other progress bars. other than those, i think this theme may be done.

edit:
no iTunes skin? maybe another future release..? not too important to have.

This is what you need to change the dock color.

This is a direct link to "Spotlight". it is the theme I am using. If you want to see another screenshot before you download it go to http://www.resexcellence.com/themes/ and scroll about 1/3 of the way down.

Nice, job as well as the way you delivered it. This has made me switch from Section 9. And it goes great with the fluid screensaver and the hack to make the progress bar spill over. Cheers.

Wow

That's a lot of good comments, thanks a bunch everyone.

The buttons for safari will be completed in the official release, only a few more days now.
Then I'll complete the progressbars for a second preview and face the buttons and tabs for the final. Well... knowing me that'll take a while. But I've used it as is for over a year now... works good.

Also grey menus will be availible in the official preview.

Thanks again! Later guys.

Nice. How did you do the transparency on the titlebar? That would be cool to have in the Aero theme port.

Hehe...just one year, started during last summer

Hey, it's a hobby... I only do it when I feel like it... And a little more each time someone wonders what happened with that awsome theme. Besides my girlfriend thinks it's geeky...

Transparancy in the titlebar is made by simply making the titlebar transparent.

LOL. An old girlfriend of mine (the one that got away) used to get her revenge on my Mac time by going around to display Macs at computer stores and putting the System Folder in the trash.

She was always frustrated that the OS wouldn't allow her to empty the trash. I had to follow her around and set every Mac right.

To dislike Sinatra is a sign of highly questionable taste. To dislike the Beatles is a serious character flaw.

Guess theming will still remain geekish...

Plz.. Correct me if im wrong ?..

YAY! Been waitin a while for dis one. ThANks and get it finished!!

After using the theme I have a few gripes. I know this is only a beta but there are alot of unfinished bits, rendering the theme unusable imo. The second thing is less of gripe and more curousity. When u open a preference pane with this theme enabled, after it loads u can still see the loading text behind the other text. dont know if there is much u can dobout it though.

I've been using this theme for a year and never noticed anything like that...
