Well, there it is, only coughhintcough a screenshot so far but I'm hoping to get out a preview release of this in a week or two.

The next few days I'll be at an introduction of my new school with my girlfriend, it's at least 300 miles away so I won't be checking in here for a while.

So stay good, and don't reveal anything
I'll be looking forward to some comments

Hah, thanks a lot man!
Yeah, it's from final fantasy 12. You'll probably find it rather easily just knowing that.

Sorry I haven't got anything new for ya'll (Safari buttons!) I just can't find the time to do it... as usual.

My updated desktop.

I'm really digging the theme and it's pretty impressive to get me away from Section 9. Anyway, I posted this in the desktop thread but thought I'd repeat it here and again give a for a good theme.

Thanks. I found it somewhere a couple of weeks ago. Can't remember the name of the site.
When I get home tonight, I'll see if I can track it down. But if you're interested in it, I can send it to you, or put it on the download list of my .mac if anyone's interested.

This is wonderful!

Although your appearance theme is labelled as for "Panther," is there a corresponding identical version for Jaguar? It looks so fantastic that I want to start using it right away!

I can't wait for the final version to be released!

I'm definitely interested! When I first enlarged that desktop picture in a separate window, it looked so awesome that I couldn't help but sigh with wonder, dreaming about what it would be like to have a desktop theme like that....

Please let me know how to download it as soon as you find out!

Well there's a quick answer and many excuses to that.
Quick answer is no.

There probbably will be once I get a new comp. And that will probbably happen once apple decides to upgrade the Portables to G5, sorry guys.

Newbie! The coolness factor is having to search for it. If you had been here when the theme was coming out, you'll see that it was all the rage and quite clever in the way it was announced and released.

Tha said, I do hope there will be a time when this theme continues. It's one of the most attractve themes out there and one yyou can work on for very long amounts of time, unlike many other themes.

Yup, it's hide and seek, when I think it's ready to step out of it's hiding you'll find it with a Google search but 'til then it's exclusive to those willing to put a little more time into it.

Or an innovative way to "release" the theme that most people, minus dense people with less than 20 posts apparently, gleaned right away.
Now leave SF alone with your silly buggering and let him think about finishing off this wonderful theme.

Yeah, it seems SS for Tiger is not yet compatible with the technique I'm useing for the menubar. And I'm still to impatient to do it my iBook 600... Don't want to buy an already outdated PowerBook G4 either.
Guess it'll be long... sad as it is. I'd like to see it done as well. Maybe when the intel PowerBooks get out... if Apple can't come up with something before then.

Again. Sorry.

Well, who knows, maybe I'll get a great big creativity rush - great enough for me to get the patience I need for my iBook.

Actually, it's just broken in SS 2.1. Works great in the forthcoming SS 2.1.1 - I used Mizu as one of my test themes for menubar fixes.

The only issue is that the menubar endcaps are each 6 pixels wide in the theme and MenuEnhancer is hard-coded to use 8 pixel caps. Easy fix on your end.

It will be aesthetically unappealing.

It'll just magically work again once 2.1.1 is released.

That's great... I guess I could fix that easilly enough... if it'll be long 'til 2.1.1?

I estimate 2.1.1 will be out next week, but 2.1.1 won't fix the 6->8 pixel thing, you'll still need to fix that yourself if it bothers you. It probably will.
