Which to chose? QT5 has better buffering and offers a more selective choice as far as bandwith is concerned (I'm on 512Kbps cable, that speed is not specified in QT4, it only has T1 which is 1.5Mbps and 112kbps), but it's PR software. Only thing QT4.1 has going for it is that it's finalized shipping software. So which to chose? Any previous experiences?

As you're in Europe I thought you might wanna know that it's satellite broadcasted over here.

Eutelsat W2 at 16E TXP 1 Ch DVB1
Downlink frequency: 11013.67H
Symbol rate: 5.6320
FEC: 3/4
Destination: Multi

If you don't have satellite access I would most definitely choose 4.1. QT5 is in it's current form far from being stable

QT5; however, the stream is timing out. Can the servers be overwhelmed already? Is it too early?

I've been in for about 10 minutes using QT PR2 and getting no timeouts. Of course, I'm also on dialup, which means I'm shunned by women, piddled on by dogs, and generally spat upon, so there.

No, I'm just watching the streaming feed on QT 5. I have my ticket, just didn't get time to go. They zoomed by this guy who was holding up a red sign that said "Apple VIP" hehe
