Hey all.

I use my powerbook all the time at work and at home. 12 inch revision C. I'm up to 10.3.8. I play WoW and run a few fairly processor intense programs at work and such. Anyway, my fan comes on nearly all the time now...I purchased the unit in July of 04 and had to have a video cable replaced (Apple Care covered it and says it was a hardware failure entirely unrelated to usage). But am I effectively dooming my laptop to a short life by pushing it so hard w/ games and work? Aren't these manufactured for heavy usage? Thanks for any and all responses to my meager concerns!

MacNN rocks.

Most PowerBooks last a long time - I think turning them on and off hurts more than running them for a long time.
