I'm looking for a good RSS reader widget that lets me enter my choice of feeds. Ideally it would have a hierarchical layout like this one (which is for Konfabulator only)

The Apple widget site and dashboardwidgets.com don't seem to have anything that fits the bill...

Suggestions?

I know that you are specifically requesting a Dashboard widget, however if you are in need of a solid freeware RSS reader, you may want to check out Vienna. After AdiumX it is perhaps my favorite open source project.

I'll have a look.
I guess using Dashboards is not absolutely necessary.

I want to turn my second monitor into a 'command center' with at-a-glace views of news, webcams, etc...

I did see that one and while it is a nice widget, I don't think that it meets my needs, because it only shows one feed at a time.
Each feed seems to reside in its own 'tab'.

You might also consider some of the truly excellent web-based feed readers out there. Two in particular that I know and love are

Netvibes
and
http://reader.google.com

Vienna does look very slick, so that is a real possibility...

Remember all of those 'push' web apps that were so popular in the late 90's...?
