I want to span to both monitors and still be able to use my macbook screen . . . call me greedy, but this would help my work so much more.

What will I need? How do I set it up?

I'm not sure that this is possible, especially on a MacBook, which can't use any kind of PC-card based solution (of course, the MacBook Pro can't either). I vaguely recall reading about some kind of splitting device that allowed you to use two VGA screens from one output, but I don't recall the details. The best solution of course, is to just get a bigger monitor and get rid of those 15" screens.

That might be what I was thinking of, but it says Windows 2000 or XP only. Will it work on a Mac?

one really bad thing, just as the matrox thing, it makes the 2 15" one screen and not 2 seperate screens, that sucks!
