Even if you don't live in California, how would you vote in this election? I thought with all these polls out MacNN could have it's own poll.

P.S.

D - Democrat
R - Republican
I - Independent (no party affiliation)
G - Green
L - Libertarian
NL - Naturual Law
AI - American Independent
PF - Peace and Freedom

This is why I'm glad I live in a state where the governor is popular.

Has Schwarzenegger said anything of substance yet? Or is he truly the reincarnation of Thomas Dewey?

I think Davis will be forced to resign and Bustamante will be Gov, thus nulling the recall vote.

I'd vote Arnold Schwarzenegger. He'll be out of the movies, govenor for one term (my prediction) and can never become president.

This is a good thing. In a way. More good than bad I recon.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I'd vote for Simon.

Arnold is just too "we-ahd" for me.

Democrats got that state into the mess its in so no sense in putting them back in.

The other problem is that he's a Democrat in Republican clothing. He has Warren Buffett (D) and Rob Lowe (D) working on his campaign, also.

I like Warren a lot, but Rob Low(e)? I wonder if Rob will give out personally autographed videotapes of his famous orgy in Atlanta so many years ago to people who make sizable "contributions" to Arnold's campaign?

I voted for Arnold Schwarzenegger (R), I think that he has the best chance. California is like my own state of Massachusetts, overwhelmingly Democrat. We elected Mitt Romney in 2001, a possibility for 2008. The winds of change are here!

Bill Simon has dropped out of the race. His name will still be on the ballot, though.

Right on. This is really turning out to be dissapointing in so many ways. The top 2 choices are going to be Ahnold and Cruz. Anhold, being, like you said, a democrap in Republican clothing (at least when it comes to social issues and a few other things). And Cruz being worse than Davis (he was born in my town, and I, and quite a few other people here know that he sucks). It would have really made more sense for someone who votes "no" on the recall to not get to choose a replacement candidate. Because in effect, all it has done is unfairly bolster the votes for Bustafatass. A true opposer of the recall should have no replacement candidate to choose from, since they obviously don't want the person in charge now (Davis) to be replaced by anyone in the first place!

Ideally, I would like to vote for someone who is opposite on just about *everything* the democraps have been doing to this state since Davis came in, and someone who has experience in politics and knows how to fix an economy (ie, not Ahnold). But the problem with that, is that there are only a few major players like that (most of whom are listed on this poll). In effect, it's splitting the vote for good replacement candidates, and making it harder to replace Davis with someone who is likely to fix things (ie, a Republican who can stop the worthless spending, and fix our economy (and a few other things while he's at it), because the democraps won't stop the spending).

You know what this poll reminds me off?
FOX NEWS Polls. (We Report You Decide)
I mean it looked almost exactly like this.

Arnold Schwarzenegger with 55 %
- 20%
- 10%
- 5%

And then you look at the bottom of the poll, and see in 5 pt font.

600 Registered Voters, LA County

And then recently on Stupid Fox O'Riley was on with a guest who said (roughly) something like, Bustamante is only going to win because all the latinos are going to vote for him.

1. Maybe
2. Still half of the Lations aren't even going to vote.
3. Fox News Sucks

I picked Arianna, even though I'm not in California, and can't vote for real. I think she's a bright lady, and I often agree with her ideas. It's sad to know that Arnold is going to win, for no other reason than he's the Terminator. There's a hell of a qualification for ya. Next thing you know, some state will elect a professional wrestler. Oh wait, scratch that...

I'm not so sure about that. The polls have been violatle. Bustamante has been in the lead in quite a few of them, in fact.

I just wish that Arnold would tell people how he's going to bring businesses back to California, lower the state's debt, and improve the state's economy. (I don't think he even has an idea how to do it.)

Also, I'd like to see Arianna Huffington disappear. Her actions have proven that she's more interested in publicity than actually helping people.

I don't like the recall at all.. to begin with I can't even see where gray davis did wrong...

Bustimate will be nothing but trouble, knowing his roots he'll probably open the floodgates for all of his uh.. relatives

Swarzi-- what's his name? I think he has a team of people doing all the moves for him lol. Not my kinda guy and such...

EITHER WAY I'm glad this won't be the state I live in ... in a few months time!!

Maybe, but he already gets plenty of it without running for public office.

And, unlike Huffington, he has a chance of winning, so he can't (I hope) be in it strictly for the publicity.

WHAT!?!? Are you freakin' kidding me!?!? I still can't believe that through all the crap he's put us through (ie billions wasted on outdated Oracle software for the state; the fake 'energy crisis'; ludicrous educational mandates that waste billions on areas the CTA (California Teachers Association) doesn't even agree with; and a failed attempt to 'handle' a simple budget deadline) I can't believe there are still people defending this vain, self-absorbed politician.

The best thing 'Red' Davis can do now is bow out of office.
1. He'd save his party from losing face and maintaining the state for the Democrats.
2. He'd actually save the state some money!!!

Wake up and smell the overpriced espresso CA!!!
