I thought it could be a good Idea if we had a list of the must have GUI Apps and perhaps maybe a moderator could make it a sticky so new members (and old) can easily find the apps etc...
I will start the list and if people could add links in here I will continue to edit this post to keep it upto date and then maybe like I said it will eventually become a sticky and help people find products and save repeated questions.
The List
- Shapeshifter | Theme Mac OSX
- TransparentDock | Mac OSX Dock Customisation
- Slider | Adds a sliding + fading effect when opening/closing any window of a cocoa application
- Candybar | Lets you change the Mac OS X icons you usually can't!
- MightyMouse | Allows you to customize your cursors with style
- Silk | Enables the Quartz text rendering and smoothing introduced in Mac OS X 10.1.5 in all Carbon applications
- Pixadex | Lets you import, organize and search huge numbers of icons quickly & easily
- Sticky Windows | Transforms your windows into tabs when you drag a window towards the edge of your screen
- Themepark | Lets you give your computer a style of its own
- ThemeChanger | Switches your theme in MacOS X
- Catalyst | Create themes on Intel or PowerPC Macs
- guikitty | Companion tool for any people interested in creating themes to be used with the ShapeShifter
- DeskShade |
- WindowShade X |
- ShadowKiller |
- ClearDock |
- Psst | Allows user to turn the startup chimes on or off
- MenuShade | Puts a colored mask over the menubar which fades away on mouse hover
- NewsTicker |

Thanks for the links have updated the first post... not had chance to look at what the apps do yet though so if people wanted to post a brief thing like I have for the first few then that would be a great help...
Thanks
Darren

@ Lee33:
How is "Psst!" a GUI app?
It's not. I made a mistake but decided to leave it there so people like you could feel needed by pointing it out.
