OK.

So what happened to iDVD? Don't tell me I have to buy iLIFE just to get this application that was free to me minutes before I installed Panther?!?!

All I see are updates on Apples website.

Look on the Software Restore CD that came with your Mac, there is an installer for the additional applications.

Launch this, and you will find iDVD, Omnigraffle, etc.

Then download the updates for these as normal.

iDVD comes with your Mac - not the system.

You have to install it from your restore disc.

Edit: too slow

Just drag it and drop it from your backup.

What? You don't have a backup?

OK.

Thanks! I'll give that a try. I love Panther and it seems to be faster on my iMAC.

I even bought a .MAC account this weekend too.

Good for you, Switch2mac...I love using the .mac thing. Sure, it may be more expensive than some alternatives, but it is a no-brainer for those of us who just want it to work!
