okay, my Italian adventure is T minus 54 hours, and I have one big question:

the iMacs I'll be using over there have the Italian version of OS 9 installed. These iMacs also support booting off of a firewire disk. Could I install a North American OS 9 onto my firewire hard drive, and boot up those Italian iMacs okay? I don't want to install it on the iMacs permanently, but it would defineately help me out while i'm working.

Also, if I'm booting off a North American OS and I want to update the firmware, should I use the North American updater, or the Italian updater?
