We just ordered a new 1.25ghz AlBook in the office. It's 512 megs of RAM is 256x2, and we'll probably update one of the slots to 512, to get 768 in the powerbook and have a 256 meg dimm left homeless.
Can I "trickle down" that dimm to an 867 Mhz TiBook without issues?

No. because the TiBook uses a PC 133 SODIMM while the AlBook uses PC 2700 DDR SODIMM They are NOT backwards compatible
