Super cool new song by Beastie Boys, I can't wait for the entire album to be released.
The video kicks ass too, so check it out.

P.S. how do I create a link to iTMS?

I have never been a fan of the Beastie Boys.

They are quite talented and cutting edge. I'll give them that.

I right clicked on the song in the iTMS, chose copy link from the contextual menu, then pasted it into MacNN

Beastie boys are my #1 favourite group.

I don't like this song much though, don't have a unique distinct sound to it.

I look forward to the whole album though, does anyone know the release date?

Hopefully I'll be able to download it off iTMS before you stand in that line even.

slighty off topic- did anyone else smirk when they hear jay-z's 99 problems. sounds so completely license to ill to me. might have something to do with rick ruben in the production booth. no matter, im happy to hear those crunchy guitar licks on a rap cd again.

oh, and i think ill break my cd buying slump (been about two years) to pick up to the 5 boroughs. hell, i have all the other beastie albums.

Go nuts, no way in hell do I want the downloadable version with restrictions, lesser quality and no booklet or hardcopy for the same price or more.

Ah, you're right. Their cd cases are usually pretty cool too.

It doesn't even make sense to me if you live in the middle of no-where as shipping covers the middle of no-where when you buy a physical CD.

I guess some people might like it for individual songs but buying digital albums online is just stupid.

There are times when I hear a catchy song on the radio. I wouldn't consider buying a whole album by the band, and singles are ridiculously expensive on CD, so I'd be willing to buy from iTMS. FOr albums, though, no.

We're waiting for the announcement from Microsoft.

Here's a preview: "Intarweb Jargon 2.0 is Microsoft's answer to naturally evolving internet vernacular. No longer will you be the last to know that cool phrase. Now you, too, can be the popular online personality you always dreamt of. Created by the people who put the Plus in Windows 98 Plus! and the popular Windows XP installation soundtrack you've grown to love."

I think 99 problems sounds great, I thought the same as you. Great 80s rap is coming back into style I guess. Funny how it just goes in circles, what once was popular will become popular again.

Beastie Boys are cool

My favorites are Paul's Boutique, Check Your Head, and Licensed To Ill. They play some good samples.

For instance, Curtust Mayfield Superfly.
