I purchased this machine new from the Apple store, and its great. Its in about 92% shape right now, with some of the sides showing bowing, but otherwise fantastic machine. I upgraded the ram to 1.5gb, and the rest of the specs are the same.
Very recently I thought I heard some bizarre fan noise, and I took it to the Genius bar and they replaced the fans and heatsinks and told me that everything looked great inside the machine.
At any rate, it has 10.4.9 installed.
