Hello i originally had my ipod set up a windows but then i got a mac and i was wondering if i could change the format of the ipod so i can get updates for it or are the updates useless thanks for the information.

Yes, but you have to perform a Restore, which means everything on the iPod will be erased. You do it in iTunes.

Thank you i was always scared to do that cause i thought like it would delete all the songs on my itunes somehow... that was a stupid belief
