Are there any good RF remotes without a laser in them?

Why not a laser? Because in 90% of the presentations I've been to where the presenter had a laser, he abused it. I can read, thank you for tracing your virtual finger on every line of the presentation.

The remote isn't for me, it's for the staff I support. I can encourage them to be sensible with the pointer, but if they don't have one, I can guarantee it.

Why not try an ATI remote wonder? They're affordable, don't need a 'line of sight' but are instead radio controlled, still rather compact, and have a plethora of buttons, compared to the smaller keyspan remote and whatnot.

Not to mention it'll last longer then those 'pill container' remotes do. Besides that the remote wonder can be programmed to do the exact things you want it to do AND MORE.

Not bad, I'll look at it. Thing is, a pelthora of buttons really isn't an asset here. Simple rules. One obvious button for next slide, one for previous slide, and a togglepad to move the mouse is just perfect.

I can't imagine getting a dozen folks together to hold a training session on how to use a presentation remote, and I promise you they won't read the manual.... I am the manual. Therefore, products that require no explanation are the most effecient and best solutions.
