I was going to recommend the Daystar upgrade:
http://daystar-store.com/index.asp?P...ROD&ProdID=555

but it is not available for your model...

Depending on how you use your 'book, you might find increasing the RAM to 2.5 gb or upgrading the hard drive to 7200 rpm would give some speed boosts.

Macworlds March issue has lots of tips for grooming your system and apps to give speedier overall performance.

enjoy,

Rich

You can't address more than 2 gigs of RAM, so 2.5 is a no-go...and more RAM rarely gives much benefit after 1.5 GB anyway.

I'd recommend a 7200rpm hard drive--that's the biggest bottleneck in performance with laptops, so get that upgraded.

If you have the latest revision of the Powerbook, this could work
iMac 24" | Core 2 Extreme 2.8GHz | 4GB RAM | 500GB HD
PowerBook G4 15" HR | 1.67GHz | 2GB RAM | 100GB HD
R.I.P 1995 Toyota Supra NA-T

Get a Macbook Pro 2.16 and only work with universal applications for a few months... I guess it's not that good a solution.
