ERRR just bought an iBook last weekend from Apple Store... but now they came out with the Better Together http://www.apple.com/promo/bettertogether/ FREE printer deal... is there any way that I could still get the promotion deal?

---EDIT---

Thanks guys for all the help!

It's my fault that I didn't tell the whole story... and here it is...

I've been recommending a lot of my friends to buy a mac... and since the end of last year I took 4 of my friends to buy the iBook. Well this last friend I recommended asked me about the free printer deal... so I checked with Apple store. Unfortunately, they did not have the promotion and would not tell me when it will become available. So it goes... She bought the iBook last weekend and has to buy a new printer (the old one she had won't work on Mac). Now the deal is back.. and I feel really sorry for her now...

I won't really care about the promotion if it was myself... but it was me who told her to "buy it when you need it" Agh... I'll try my best to talk to the local Apple Store...

Thanks again!

Go to the Apple store and take some hostages. Just use a big blunt object to use as a weapon.

That usually gets the idea across that you mean business. It also works on first dates.

You bought the iBook before Apple published the 'better together' promotion. That should answer your question.

You really shouldn't be pissed... Other electronic stores have 30 day matching price guarantee. Best Buy, Circuit City to name two of them near me. It's really a common courtesy that a lot of businesses do.

Trust me you are better off without it. At the cost of refilling that Epson with ink ONCE you can buy a Canon printer that will save you tons more money in the long run.

Return the computer, Money Back Guarantee,
then go buy a new one. You may have to pay
a restocking fee of 10 percent, but I doubt it.

If you do, then at least you get the free printer! Cool! eh?

Looks like you are the one who isn't. 10% of a $1,400 computer equals well over the $79 price tag of the printer.

Congratulations on the new iBook, Necrocool. Sometimes you just purchase what you need, and not worry about the deals after.

You could call Apple. At times they will hook people up.

At Best Buy, we would have people do that all the time. It's not crazy to ask, but if they say "We can't do it" just get over it.

Picking up hardware is always a hit or miss type of thing...

try this?

http://www.freeprinterpower.com/

if you dont mind the

"The agreement simply states that you agree to purchase $225.00 (+ applicable tax) worth of ink from us each month for 24 months. We will also give you a UPS or FedEx # to overnight the agreement to one of our warehouses. Once we receive your original agreement, we ship you your free printer."

the printer is free and you own it after 2 years!! what a deal!!

Thanks guys for all the help!

It's my fault that I didn't tell the whole story... and here it is...

I won't really care about the promotion if it was myself... but it was me who told her to "buy it when you need it" Agh... I'll try my best to talk to the local Apple Store...

Thanks again!

Why didn't you say that in the first post?
I take back what I said about you not being
very bright. I would like to adjust my opinion
of you, and instead of not being the brightest
bulb on the tree, I would like to add, you also
are not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

It's not your fault she didn't get a free printer.
I mean really! She got a kickin computer, and
printers are dirt cheap anyway. You can go to
a wholesale club and get one for $25 / $30.

These days, the ink cost more than the printer.

Don't sweat it, and I am just kidding about
the bulb and the knife / drawer comparison.
You are a good friend, and cannot think of
everything.

I'm still confused about why you didn't just
state the story as it was in fact.

Well, whatevah, lata'
