I already know of the apple logo color hack..but I dont plan on bothering with it since I got the speck clear red case..it looks badass on the black let me tell you.
But are there any other cool hacks for my macbook?
Plus..is it possible to somehow make a lit keyboard from some leds and somehow cutting the place where the letter is printed on the key, and then having it shine through?? That would be amazing. I'd do that in a heartbeat. And another thing...is it possible to change my graphics card? I've only had my mac for 3 months so im still left with some questions.
Thanks in advance, Amanda.

No to all. There isn't a ton of hacks to be done with the MacBook.

You cannot change your graphics card.
That being said, not many people have yet ventured into the realm of MacBook modification. Perhaps you should be a pioneer in the field?
Note that any modifications to the computer in that vien will void your warantee.
Good luck, and post pics if you do anything cool!

Dont think theres much to do on MacBook, people dont mod notebooks, only desktops
And supporting you with the GPU modding thing, cant do it because it's integrated with the motherboard. Maybe if you took a knife and chipped it off... Why dont you try it?

I have a backlit keyboard on my MB, but I'm not telling how I did it.

I have wireless N in my core duo macbook. Thats the only thing I have done to mine. A colored apple on the back of my macbook will come next.

Hmm. I wonder if anyone's changed the color of the backlight for the keyboard? Make it blue or red instead of white. That's a mod I'd be willing to look into. I'd imagine it'd just be replacing the LED or whatever is the lightsource (even if it means just painting it or whatever.)

you would be better off with a thin layer of coloured acetate or similar on the back of the keyboard, in between the white diffuser layer and the keys.
To add backlit keyboard to a MacBook, would involve custom made keys or cutting the letters all the way through the standard ones.
