So the forums are (as of now) undecided.
Both MB & MB Pro Forums have threads about MacBook Air.
"Neither fish nor fowl?" What shall it be considered?
Or get its own thread (yeah, right).

Its a pro device but that's neither here nor there. If you had seen the feedback forum you'd notice that there's a thread about the possible (probable) consolidation of the laptop forums.
Also, instead of voting, it probably would have been easier just to PM a mod that there's a duplicate thread in the MacBook forum.

They're going to combine both forums, so the question is moot.

Duh! my bad.
For myself, I always thought there was SO much difference between the two (esp. if you consider differences between "PowerBook" and "iBook" which go in same forums -- and which (at least at my house) raise so many different issues.
And I wonder whether the "Air" may not as well.
Makes me wonder about wisdom of Apple's branding categories:
iBook --> MacBook
PowerBook --> MacBook Pro
[at least the two confuse my little brain when I'm scanning a bunch of news items (like MacNN home page)

It should have its own forum. What will the mods do when they come out with a 15" MacBook Air?

They are? Great! It's about time.
P.S. I think this thread may illustrate one of the criticisms of the MacBook Air. It's an aluminum MacBook Pro wannabe in terms of price, but most people think it's more a competitor to the much lower-priced MacBook in terms of actual functionality.

I think you’re confusing ‘enigma’ with ‘enema’ there.
No, I won’t
