Hello all, I am looking to sell my trusted PM Quicksilver. The machine is still in use daily and has never had any difficulties.

Specs:

~Powermac Quicksilver originally Dual 800
~Upgraded CPU to Gigadesigns Dual 1.8Ghz G4
~Ram maxed out to 1.5GB matched.
~SATA PCI card with 200GB sata drive.
~Pioneer dvr-110 dvd/rw (upgrade from the original slow superdrive)
~Belkin USB 2 PCI card
~AGP GeForce3 64MB, Quartz extreme supported.

I also have:

~The original Dual 800 CPU board, WITH heatsink.
~ATI Radeon 9800 256 MB, unfortunately this seems to not be working. The fan is broken and vid output is messed up (unusable). Not sure if this can be fixed or not, but I'll throw it in for the adventurous.

Leopard installed.

Always cared for and in a non-smoking environment. Everything works great (except for the ATI card as noted above) I still have the original box, and it can be shipped in that with original packing!

$600.

Does the Geforce3 have an ADC port or is it DVI and VGA?

nice looking machine. would the 1.8 G4 upgrade work in a MDD model G4? I'm amazed that you are selling the machine for less than the cost of that one part!
AT&T iPhone 5S and 6; 13" MBP; MDD G4.

SSharon,

Unfortunately no, that upgrade is not compatible with the MDD models. MDDs have a different architecture and can only use MDD specific cpus. Sonnet is the only company that makes MDD upgrades.

Thanks for the pics iamnotmad!

Thanks, it really has been a great machine, I'm almost sad to sell it. It was the first Mac I purchased! I wanted to make the price reasonable for what is included, and offer it here first, since I've been browsing MaccNN for so long. I would like to sell it to someone here.

Also, I am in the Baltimore area, so if someone is interested in VA/DC/MD we could potentially meet up for the sale. It would be nice not to ship it.
