Virtual PC, but it's not free, requires you to own a Windows license, and may be too slow depending on the codecs that Joost uses.

May as well give your Joost account to me.

You can't run OSX Intel in emulation (neither legally or technically with ease), so the path of least resistance is to run Windows inside an emulator.

Joost seems to be a bit resource heavy. I don't think an iBook would be able to run it through Windows in VPC. Though, it can't hurt to try.

Also, I don't know of anyway to emulate a PPC to Intel.

The Joost FAQ says both Linux and PPC Mac clients are in development.

You mean no-one has got a hacked version of intel OSX running on a PPC machine under virtual PC?!

I'm sure some people have. I may even know them. But we're not allowed to talk about that here.

Joost is already too slow to use properly on a 24" iMac with a 22Mbit connection...running it on an iBook especially through slooooow Windows emulation...the thought itself is laughable.

I guess you didn't see the guy who ran Windows on OS X on Linux on Windows or something silly like that.

We have Joost and really dont know what the fuss is about. It didn't work on our G5, worked well on a MacBook Pro and a dedicated 2MB line, but there is just nothing intresting to watch atm. It was never put back on after the initial few minutes.

On another note, I should admit - the interface is well built!
