Hey all,

OK I'm in serious trouble my family is asking me what i want for Christmas! damn! who can answer this question for me? I'm usually the kind of guy who prefer freeware to paid software but now i'm finding myself looking for paid stuff! What an irony huh?

So I have been thinking about the mStand for my Macbook Pro and now i'm looking at good paid software.
Being a tech journalist I already have good stuff for free like Parallels Desktop 4.0 or MS Office. I was thinking about Pixelmator as I believe there is no good alternatives out there. Overall I get to choose for $300. Also i do prefer to receive gifts than money...

Do you have any idea of a killer app?

Thanks!

Another thread a while back convinced me to get DiskWarrior, a very useful utility.

Productivity software just seems like a strange thing to want for Christmas. I can see a 17 year old wanting an expensive computer game...

Each to his own. You mentioned Pixelmator, so do you like photography and image editing? How about Photoshop Elements or Aperture? Other than iLife and iWork, the only other thing I use is the "pedias" form Bruji (sorry, DM people).
