So I backed up my iPhone before updating it to iOS4 (from 3.12 I believe... i hadn't updated my phone since December 2009 or so) and when I got my phone back from updating it, all my appsa and all the music on the iPod are gone. All photos/videos are there, along with any webpages I added to the homepage. On iTunes, the apps listed are old ones I don't have anymore (from the last time I connected and synced my phone, which was a while ago) and every single song is listed three-four times in the library. I just want my phone to go back to the way it was - with all the same apps and one version of each song. Since I backed up the phone before updating, and I was told the backup was successful (it took a long time) is there any way that I can access the backup and put the entire contents of it back to the phone? Thanks.

Ctrl-Click (right click) the phone in iTunes and choose "Restore from Backup".
